Secret Santa Tags From jcpenney #jcpSecretSanta

 

I love shopping at jcpenney, especially around Christmas time.  I don’t know how they do it, but they seem to have something for everyone – even those “hard to buy for people”.  This year,  jcpenney wants to make your shopping experience even more fun!  Secret Santa Tags!  So now if you want to surpise a friend or loved one with a gift this Christmas, jcpenney has an easy and really fun way to do that!

You must have a smart phone and the ability to download a QR reader app in order to participate in all the fun.  

While you are shopping at your local jcpenney store, just grab one of their one-of-a-kind QR code gift tags.  The gift tag allows you to record your own personal message using your smart phone.  How cool is an interactive virtual “Secret Santa”?!

Once you have a Santa Tag in hand, simply scan the QR code and enter your cell phone number.  Once you do that,  jcpenney will call you within a minute or two.  Follow the prompts to record your (short) holiday message and once your message is recorded, all you have to do is affix the tag to your gift and send it to the recipient.  They will then scan the code to hear their message & find out who their “secret santa” is.

Thanks to my friends at Mom Central and the folks at jcpenney,  I was selected to participate in the  Secret Santa Tags Blog Tour.  As part of the program, not only was I able to try out the new Secret Santa Tag for myself,  I was able to be a “Secret Santa” and pick out a gift from jcp.com for one of my fellow bloggers. I can’t tell you who my “Secret Santa” is yet, but stay tuned for the big reveal next week.  I loved browsing through all the fun stuff on the jcp.com website.  I do have to say that the person I got made it really easy on me  as far as picking out a gift for her went.  She provided a link to exactly what she wanted, so I didn’t have to search too hard for that perfect gift.

The Secret Santa Tag was so easy to do and honestly, it was pretty fun.  It literally took me all of two minutes (if that) to scan the code, enter my phone number and record my message.  I think the Secret Santa Tag adds an even more personal touch to any gift and I know I am really looking forward to seeing who got me as their “Secret Santa” and to see what they picked out for me.  My fingers are crossed that my “Secret Santa” gets me a waffle iron.
