I’m not the mushy, romantic type. It’s just not my thing. Don’t get me wrong, though, I do have my moments and rarely occasionally I like to be swept off my feet by my handsome husband, Chris (although I don’t have those moments very often). Sometimes he will say something to me like “you’re so beautiful” or “I can’t wait to grow old with you” and do you want to know my standard response? ”Barf.” It’s just the way I am and anyone that knows me in real life can verify it.
Here’s proof.
We were playing Words With Friends the other day and he played the word love. When I went to send him a word back, I noticed that he had sent me a message. We don’t usually use the little conversation bubble, so I was curious to see what he had to text me versus say to my face. I mean,he was sitting right next to me on the couch at the time he sent it afterall. Here is his message and my response back to him:
It doesn’t mean I don’t love him, because I do. Like I said, I’m just not mushy like that.
Side note – Words With Friends is the most addicting game of all time.

You crack me up! My husband and I play WWF together as well, usually sitting right next to each other. Typically, we are too busy trying to come up with dirty words to notice if anything sweet is available to play. Yeah, we’re 12. LOL

we are mushy but in this over the top sarcastic gross way and I usuall tell my Chris I hate him once a day and throw in a couple mean comments. It’s just my way.
