A while back, Chris decided that he wanted to run for the Finance Committee in our little town. The Finance Committee takes care of all matters involving the finances and financial procedures in town & since Chris is an accountant, he thought the Finance Committee would be a good way for him to get started in town politics.
The first step in the process was going to the Town Clerk’s office at the town hall to get some paperwork. He needs 50 signatures from registered voters in town to get his name on the ballot for the special election in April, so he went last week to get the papers he needed.
He had a few neighbors sign for him already and we had some friends in town sign, too. Last Saturday, he
accosted asked people outside of the Post Office this past weekend for the rest.
He will be going to drop off the signatures sometime this week at the Town Clerk’s office.
Wish him luck and I’ll be sure to keep you posted!
