I feel like I have one of the pickiest eaters in the entire world sometimes. My seven year old would literally live on sting cheese, lollipops and goldfish crackers if I would let him. Seriously.  I honestly have no idea how he sustains himself sometimes because his eating is so erratic and unhealthy.  Not long ago I posted some of my best tips for dealing with picky eaters, but recently a new tool has come to my attention and I wanted to share it with you today.

It’s called the Pica Food App!

  7. Cute app! When my oldest was little we introduced “no thank you tastes” so she has to at least try it before she can decide that she doesn’t want it. Over time she grew to love whatever we were trying to get her to eat. win win in my book. The other three thankfully aren’t picky eaters and will eat stuff most adults won’t even try! LOL!

    • My kids had to try at least one new food every week. They were picky for a while but they grew up to be adventurous eaters!

But when I see them constantly opting for unhealthy choices: I simply don’t buy any. Plain and simple there will be no cookies, jello, suckers, ice cream, cake or freezies in this house. your choice guys: eat your carrots, or some other veggie and maybe I’ll buy some Oreo’s next grocery trip.
I just hate having food battles. It should be simpler.

  84. This app sounds like a lifesaver! Very helpful for mom’s with picky eaters.
