I am not exaggerating when I say that my boys are always hungry. Some days they completely eat me out of house and home. I swear that they would just sit there and eat all day if I would let them – but I don’t. So when I do feed them snacks, I look for ones that are not only going to fill their tummies, but are healthy as well. Enter Peanut Butter & Banana Bites! They fit both bills and the best part is that you only need two ingredients! Plus you can whip these up in just a few minutes, so it’s a win-win in the snack category if you ask me.
• Banana, sliced
• Peanut Butter
1. Peel your banana and slice into round pieces.
2. Use a butter knife to spread peanut butter onto a piece of banana. Note: The banana will be slippery so it will take a second for the peanut butter to stick to the banana.
3. Place another slice of banana on top of the peanut butter creating a mini sandwich.
4. Serve and Enjoy!
These are so easy to make and make for a really healthy, kid-friendly snack. My kids love them just as I did when I was a kid.
