As I am getting presents together to wrap I realize that I needed bags.  I go raid the supplies in our house, but nope. None. However I do have two tons of wrapping paper so I decided to make our own bags from the wrapping paper.

First I cut the amount of paper for the bag that I needed.

Fold in both sides and tap the seam.

Next fold up the bottom portion. This determines the base of the bag.

Next take your folded bottom and fold the corners in like a diamond.

It will end up looking like this:

Then fold in your corners like you would do on a present and tape the seams.

Stand you bag up and fluff it open. Add a piece of cardboard to the bottom for stability.

The perfect gift bag.
