Disney On Ice presents Disney-Pixar Toy Story 3 is coming to Boston during the February vacation and I am so excited to say that I’ll be there to see it.  I took my boys to see Toy Story 3 at the drive-in last summer and they’ve been huge Toy Story fanatics ever since.  If you know anything about Disney, you know they don’t hold back, so like all their productions, this show is sure to be great.  I am actually realy excited to see my boys faces when they see the live show.  We met Buzz & Woody when we were in Disney World in December, but seeing this show on ice is going to mezmerize them!

Interested in seeing the show at the TD Garden for yourself?  It’s a great way to entertain the kiddos during the vacation (in my opinion), so if you do want to check out the show, I have a great discount for you:

The Elle Fund, is an organization that helps raise funds for women and their families effected by Breast Cancer.  They hold events all year long that raise funds for the families.

History of the Ellie Fund:

Eleanor (“Ellie”) Popkin of Newton passed away after a courageous nine year fight with breast cancer. The Ellie Fund was founded by her sons Jeff and Eliot to honor her fight for hope and her giving spirit that touched everyone she knew throughout her life.

A Newton resident for more than thirty years, Ellie volunteered at the local library and visited children with terminal illnesses at Children’s Hospital, was a Den Mother for the local Boy Scouts of America, an active member of Hadassah, and a beloved pre-school teacher.

Their Mission:

In honor of Ellie’s fight for hope, and her giving spirit that touched everyone who knew her, the mission of The Ellie Fund is to fight breast cancer and ease its effects on women and families across Massachusetts.

Halloween for Hope is the latest event that The Ellie Fund has organized and it’s being held THIS Saturday, October 23rd from 7-10 pm at King’s, Legacy Place, which is located at 950 Providence Hwy, Dedham, MA.  If you’d like to attend, the tickets are $20 each or $30 at the door (depending on availability).  The ticket price includes Complimentary Pizza (7-8p.m.), Bowling, Private Cash Bar with Drink Specials, Treats Raffle, fun Goodie Bags & Costume Contest with CASH PRIZES (Most Original Individual, and Best Themed Couple or Group.) Please note: All guests must be 21+!  It sounds like it’s going to be a fun time and more importantly, it’s for a GREAT cause.

The generous folks at the Ellie Fund have donated a pair ( two) of  tickets to give to two of my lucky readers!  Costumes are mandatory!  All you have to do is leave me a comment and I will draw two winners  THIS Thursday, October 21st, at NOON (EST) using random.org.  Please enter only if you are able to attend THIS Saturday AND you are able to wear a costume.
