Not only is it stressful to find good food that your family will enjoy it can also be ridiculously overpriced! Fear not, I’ve rounded up some reasonably priced eats in Washington DC that will be sure to please the whole family. It’s inexpensive, convenient, and has a variety of Italian food option to choose from. I have to be honest, it’s pretty fun to eat from a food truck.

Located in the Penn Quarter this awesome family friendly barbeque place serves up Texas style barbeque in heaping portions! When you’re famished from a long day of sightseeing and walking around the museums sometimes you need a hearty home-style meal to get you powered up for your next day of excitement!   1. This is a helpful list. I haven’t been to DC in a long time, but I know Mica would love to go. He likes history a lot. When he was younger he found presidents fascinating. I haven’t heard him talk about any of them lately, but there was a time where he would go on and on about them.

  9. I totally agree that it can be tricky and expensive to eat out while your travelling!
    Normally we stock up at a grocery store for smaller meals then scout out restaurants during the day that we would love to try for dinner that night.

  12. Clyde’s and Hill Country are just down the street from me. Founding Farmers is another amazing family friendly spot. The line wraps the place on the weekends.

  15. I think the best thing is to is to find the local eating places. When you do that you find the heart of the city and that were the true treasure of the city is found.
