I like them! Both of them. I have seen a lot of these white pumpkins lately at our farm market. You could even make a ghost out of them.

I think they are adorable and all the kids will love them. It has been so long since I have done anything –have not painted or carved a pumpkin in ages. I live in an apartment and have no children AND there are so few who come around anymore. Yes, I do buy some candy JUST IN CASE!!

Your pumpkins look great! I never carved a pumpkin until two years ago and found it to be an extremely difficult thing to do, so painting pumpkins is definitely the way to go for uncoordinated people who find all things crafty difficult, like me.

    October 9, 2013 at 9:59 am

Fun! WE love painting pumpkins which reminds me I need to go get some for the kids.

Awesome pumpkins! I have been thinking about painting pumpkins this year instead of carving. I was not sure what type of paint to use. Does it peel or flake off?

I LOVE them! Great idea. Halloween is so full of creativity, I love it. I’m hunting down a green curly (long, loose curls) wig for my witch costume (I have been a witch 5 yrs in a row now.) and I ain’t having the best of luck yet! dang. My short hair can’t be my witchy hair this year (too short). I’m not complaining mind you. β™₯

Creepy cool! Painting looks less dangerous than carving pumpkins – maybe I’ll try that this year.

  55. Alissa Apel says

Easy and cute! I had to paint 30 of them last year for a fundraiser! They were foam pumpkins. I wasn’t to excited about them being foam. The paint I told them to get was repelling on them. Students that volunteered to come in on break to paint them didn’t show up. I had to do most of the painting.

These look great and they are very creative. I might have to suggest to my husband that he try decorating our pumpkins this way for Halloween this year. He usually carves the Jack O’ Lanterns with the kids but they always scare me using the knives to carve them. I’m afraid he is going to cut his finger off one of these days.
