When we go to Disney World, we always stay at the Caribbean Beach Resort.  It’s an awesome family-oriented place to stay & there are always so many fun activities going on for the kids.  Every year when we head down to Disney, we fly down in the morning and instead of going to any of the parks, we always head to Downtown Disney for lunch and a little bit of shopping.  Once we’re done there, we go back to the resort to hit the pool for a while.   I tend to book early morning flights, so every one is tired and hanging out at the pool is a fun way to spend some down-time.

Here are a few of the pictures that I took of Chris and the boys in the pool on our first night:

They had a blast in the pool and other than the one night we were out late, we were back at the pool every other night.  I’m sure those pictures will be up at some point because I got a bunch of good ones.

Disney’s got some great pools!! I like Downtown Disney. We saw Wolfgang Puck there cooking once, I thought that was really cool. 🙂

That looks like a really cool pool! I think it’s a great idea to spend some down time before hitting up the parks to prevent meltdowns!

Looks like a fun place! I was cracking up at the leg in the first picture and the look on your husband’s face.

What a great idea for your first day at Disney. Sounds like something we would do. I will have to check out the Caribbean Beach Resort. Looks like a fun place!

That pool is huge, I would love being in it. Bet it was hot there so the pool would be very welcome.

I am so excited for the day I can take my children to Disney World! Playing in the pool with the family, while being at Disney sounds like a great way to unwind from the awesomeness of the park! How fun!

What a gorgeous pool. My boys are water babies too and they insist that every vacation spot we stay in has a great pool. We are going away for Thanksgiving and that was their number one concern, whether the hotel had an indoor pool.

That pool looks so inviting-I just want to walk in (I do not jump into pools!) and then float on my back for an hour or so. I have never stayed at a Disney resort–that pool might just get me to go!

We don’t have outdoor water parks in the UK, so love visiting them when we vacation in the USA! xxx

I love Disney! It is a great time for kids of all ages. We live close enough to drive over and get the yearly passes. If you are a Florida resident they give you a deal and it makes it very affordable. It looks like your three boys had a great time!

That first photo is hilarious and brought me back to my times with my dad at hotel pools! 🙂 He was always the one to get in and splash around with us kids, just like your hubby is doing! The outdoor setup of this particular pool looks incredible!!

What a cool pool! Staying on-site at Disney is the best way to do Disney, especially with kids since it makes it easier to get back and forth for meals and recovery time.
