Moving can be a very exciting experience, especially if you are moving to a new city. However, it can also be stressful if you have a lot of things to move or are unsure of how to get your things from one place to the next. In my years, I have either moved myself or moved my close friends and family members a lot. The first couple of moves for someone can be stressful, but eventually, you learn ways to reduce the stress so that the person moving is able to enjoy the excitement that a move can bring. Here are a few tips that I have learned over time while moving my family, or my close friends and family members:
Start Packing in Advance
Okay, so I am still guilty of not doing this, but every time I look at my calendar and realize my moving day is coming up and I still haven’t started packing my possessions, I really regret not having started sooner. I swear I’m not a hoarder, but geez do I have a LOT of stuff! Packing in advance allows you to do a little at a time and not have to throw everything into unorganized boxes at the last minute. This also helps you out when you get to your new home and know exactly where to find everything in your nice, organized boxes.
Get Materials From a Home Improvement Store
I have a weird love for home improvement stores. I mean between the endless DIY ideas and hopeful possibilities of a better-looking home (if you’re better at DIY activities than me), who wouldn’t love them! Moving everything you own from one place to another requires a lot of materials. Boxes, tape, scissors, markers, bubble wrap, and so many other small things you don’t even think about. Lucky for us, home improvement stores typically have an entire aisle dedicated to materials for moving so that you don’t have to think too hard about what you are missing. Avoid taking multiple trips and spending the excess time to get the materials you forgot, and visit a home improvement store to get everything you need on the first trip.
Recruit Some Friends
We have to address the fact that no matter what you do to prepare for a move, moving is still a hefty process. One way you can lessen the load is by asking some of your besties to help (extra points if they are good at re-assembling old Ikea furniture). I was lucky enough to have my sister, brother-in-law, and boyfriend to help me over the past few years, and I am so thankful that I did! Having other people to help you can expedite the packing process and can also make the move way more fun. Buy your helpers coffee or lunch for helping you, or just show them some extra love – moving is hard!
Hire a Cleaner
Most of the time, you just never know if your new apartment or house is going to come clean or dirty, so hiring a cleaning service to do the dirty work before you arrive is the way to go for total peace of mind because let’s be real – I don’t want to scrub someone else’s nasty toilet or shower. Knowing that the cleaning was done well and thoroughly will give you some peace of mind. I also recommend replacing your carpet, or getting it deep cleaned before your move. With little kids running around, this is essential because you do not know how the previous owners/renters treated the house before you.

I’m commenting to tell you that I find the tittle of your website immature and disgusting. I can’t believe you are a mother with your filthy mouth.
I think it’s very sad that you have no class whatsoever and what an obvious bad influence you are on your sons. You don’t deserve kids or the attention you get for your nasty behavior either. People in MA do have a serious attitude problem and it’s nothing to be proud of or brag about.
And you just antagonize that fact with your tough act and laughing it off with the term MassHole and Masshole Mommy to boot.
It’s pathetic enough that women have become baby killing, tattooed, compulsive partying, compulsive swearing, unfeminine whores, which isn’t progression, it’s regression, but selfish women like you keep all that degeneracy alive and well. Anyway, it doesn’t matter because I know the only response I will get from you is FUCK YOU, which is all your low IQ will allow you to say. As a wise man once said, consider the source and you’re the type who will never fail to live up to that..
