If you know me in real life, you know that I am always looking for new ways to keep my boys entertained and busy.  They’re energetic little boys and when I heard that Killington Mountain in Vermont was opening a brand new adventure center, I couldn’t have been more excited about it.

Eight new attractions are open starting TODAY!   They include a 4,800’ alpine mountain coaster experience, a four-story ropes course with 42 obstacles above a 5,000 square foot maze, a 1200’ long Skyeride that seats two guests at a time and rises over 200’ in the air, Segway tours, ATV/UTV mountain tours, re-designed and expanded beginner and intermediate mountain bike trails built along with our industry leading mountain bike venue designers Gravity Logic, and a new BOGS Hiking Center.

You can get individual prices for each, or buy an Adventure Center Day Pass for the best value.

Adventure Center Day Pass –
$39 (ages 7+); $15 (ages 6 and under), includes:

    • Three rides on the Skyeride
    • Skye Ropes Course
    • Terra-Maze
    • 1 round of disc golf
    • Snowshed scenic lift ride
    • Add three rides on the Beast Coaster for a total of $59 (ages 7+)
    • Add a round-trip K-1 Express Gondola ride for an additional $15.

With construction starting in May 2015 and anticipated opening in mid July, the Beast Mountain Coaster will be a must do on your agenda when you visit Killington. It’s a 4,800-foot-long alpine coaster that will twist and turn through the woods with 360-degree corkscrews and supply thrills for all ages.

Although summer  activities will conclude on Sunday October 18, 2015 to prepare the mountain for snowmaking and the winter ski and snowboard season, the coaster will operate year round.

Follow along with the construction and view height/age restrictions for children at http://www.killington.com/site/to-do/adventure-center.

Win it:  One (1) of my lucky readers is going to win a one-day pass to all available Adventure Center activities for you and your family (up to 4 people) this summer (meals, transportation, and lodging are not included in the prize).

  • For an extra entry, you can tweet this giveaway using hashtag #KillingtonSummer and @massholemommy in the tweet.
