**This post is sponsored by Cottonelle, but my love for their flushable cleansing cloths is all my own**

Today let’s talk about bums, shall we?

*Giggle*

Sometimes, my boys have issues when it comes to wiping their butts. There I said it.

And that got me to thinking.

I started to think back to when my boys  were babies and how magical baby wipes seemed when it came time to change their messy diapers.  There was nothing left behind and I would say that they cleaned up the mess pretty easily, right? And I think that a clean bum is pretty much all anyone can ask for in life.

That super cute little man pictured below is my six year old when he was a wee little one (about 20 months old) and those were definitely simpler times for him because I was the one doing all the wiping.  Now that he has to do it himself, well – let’s just say it’s an art that he still hasn’t mastered completely.

I know I said to my husband on more than one occasion back in the day, that I didn’t understand why the littles got those awesome wipes and once we’re potty trained, it’s dry toilet paper for the rest of our lives.

Admit it, you’ve thought it, too.

So, when I saw one of those hilarious new commercials featuring England’s Cherry Healey talking about clean bums the other day, I was inspired to run out to the store and pick up some Cottonelle® Flushable Cleansing Cloths and Clean Care toilet paper to try out for myself.

Can you believe it, wipes for adult bums?  I was excited for my family to start using them.

So I went ahead and placed my Cottonelle® Flushable Cleansing Cloths and Clean Care toilet paper in both of my bathrooms and so far the word on the street is that everyone seems to really like using them.  Not that I am really surprised because I am pretty happy with them myself.

  2. Bums should be treated properly :D…and cottonelle is a greta choice..love it too :)..

  3. Oh my god, this is hilarious. I have never really thought about it before to be honest, but now that you mention it, wipes would be nice sometimes.

  5. The Cottonelle Flushable wipes are great. I always have them on hand for our bathroom. 🙂

  6. Such a timely post for our family. The girl is just finishing up potty training and I completely forgot that there was another option than dry TP. Going to the store today!

  7. When we visit other homes that do not have wipes in their bathrooms, my 5 (almost 6!) year old tells the inhabitants they should have them. He also often asks why they don’t have them at school. The kid likes his wipes!

  8. Your post literally made me LOL! 😉 I actually do buy the flushable wipes for my family. We love them.

  11. I don’t have kids and I love those wipes for my own butt! I keep a pack of wipes in my purse at all times (they are actually better makeup removers than some of the other makeup remover wipes out there!) and whenever I go to a movie theatre, no worries about the stall not having any TP! 🙂

  12. Oh I love that they break up after flushing!! Because I never put “flushable” wipes in the toilet because they usually aren’t flushable! Go Cottonelle!

  13. I love both of those things and I use them both!

  14. Awesome pics, and honestly I never thought of it that way. Why do we get transitioned to crappy (pun intended) dry toilet paper when we grow up?

  15. Very cute and definitely would like some of those for a few of the people in my house 🙂

  16. What cute photos 🙂

I love those commercials also! I love that brand for our bums and they have awesome coupons for new movies too 🙂

  17. Haha! Cute pic! THis is very timely for me as I bought a whole mess of the wrong TP awhile ago and am just now getting through it. The wrong TP is just, well. wrong.

  18. Love the title! Love the pic of the boys. Boys and TP…lol. My kids always used too much when they were young.

  19. You would think wiping your bum would be one of the easiest things but it’s really not! It’s actually one of the hardest. You cannot see back there and have no idea what’s going on, Thank goodness for the cleansing cloths. They helped so much when it came to potty training my little one!

  27. After having read your post–and all the comments–I definite;y have to go out and buy these wipes and try them for myself!

  28. This is great blackmail material for your 6-year-old LOL I haven’t tried those wipes, but we use another brand! I’m so OCD – if it’s clean it’s for me!

  29. These definitely aren’t just for kids. I use those wipes all the time 🙂

  30. LOVE the flushable wipes. They are the perfect thing to have in the house for the kiddos!

  31. I always like having wipes available, and since we have a septic system that’s something I take into account. I’ll give these ones a try next time I restock.

  32. We don’t have any children, but still have these- love em! How did we ever live without them?

  33. I’m just now hearing about these..not a bad idea at all, right? Thanks for sharing.

  34. I am all for these wipes. I like after using the toilet….for you know what…..I can still fell clean. It’s great that they are flushable

  35. Cottenelle is a neat brand! It is what I use at home.. very soft to use on little bums as well 🙂

  36. My parents had these at their house the other day when I was there and I totally used one! It was awesome! I totally want to get some and put in our bathroom, hopefully my husband doesn’t think I’m too strange!

  37. We always keep a stash of these in each bathroom for those times when toilet paper just doesn’t cut it!

  38. I’ve tried these and really like them. Aside from children, I think every woman needs them in her bathroom!

  39. Yea! we deserve it too! How funny I didn’t think to get them for us adults.

  40. Ok any picture involving a bathroom and toilet paper gets my attention because yeah there’s a 12 yrs boy trapped inside me. That said I am with you wet flush-able wipes are the bomb.

  41. Ha! You are funny! It is true, we definitely need to respect our bums and treat them to some wipe loving! I love the wipes container too, so convenient!

  42. You are so funny. I have to admit that I was also excited when I discovered these wipes.

  43. I always keep wipes in our bathrooms, and in my purse. They come in handy when toilet paper just doesn’t cut it. They are definitely not just for little ones!

  44. “Has not yet mastered the art!” Bahaaahahahaha! I love it! I do love having them on hand! You never know when they might come in handy!

  45. Cottonelle is definitely my favorite brand of toilet paper/cleansing cloths. The wipes come in handy!

  46. I love the flushable wipes; we have them in every single bathroom… they clean so nicely.

  47. I still wipe my 4.5 year old’s bum. I totally know she has not mastered the art yet. We love moist wipes here!

  48. Love it great post! LOL
I admit it my bathroom has adult bum wipes in it and I love them haha! x

  49. I love the Fresh Care routine! I don’t understand why only children get to have wipes that are so soft and do the full job either! I’m glad Cottonelle came out with a product for everyone!

  50. Cottonelle is one of only two brands I will buy, they are awesome!

  51. Cherry’s commercials are too funny! Never know where she’ll turn up next!

  52. I love how thick Cottonelle is! They have the thickest and best smelling wet wipes!

  53. I really love their wet wipes! Anyone with ulcerative colitis will tell you that those wipes are a real butt saver! They were a little weird for me to use as first, but now I can’t live without them. Even my husband gets mad when we run out, and he always reminds me to add more to the grocery list!

  54. I think having wipes like these in the bathroom when you have kids is a must. It helps them to take that extra step to cleaning themselves that much better.

  55. If a clean bum is possible, who wouldn’t want it?! I’m all for it!

  56. I’ve always loved wet wipes for my own personal use. I just feel so much cleaner when I use them!

  57. Cottonelle products are a name we trust. Quality products!

  58. I SO want these! Trying to teach a five-year old to wipe with hard toilet paper is so annoying. I wish elementary schools would put them in their bathrooms. That would help all the poor little children!

  59. I always buy flushable wipes! Your post made me laugh!!

  60. Your kids are great! Their photos make me smile!

  61. We love this brand! Soft and gets the job done!

  62. Kids really do hate to wipe so it is important to find ways to make it fun for them to do so.

  63. We love the wipes here too. And it really isn’t fair kids get wipes and we don’t.

  64. I do love their commercial for the wipes! I really need to get some for our house. Everyone is always complaining about toilet paper around here. lol

  65. We LOVE the Cottonelle flushable wipes! We use them all the time. One of the greatest things!!

  66. I’m in love with flushable wipes and I always walk with a tiny pack in my bag whenever we go out. I haven’t tried these ones yet but will have to pick some up and give them a try as well.

  67. Lots of great points here! There are definitely times when wipes are better, even for adults. However, I would not recommend flushing! I have no idea if the brand matters but we had a plumbing clog and I believe we saw a report that flushable wipes were causing problems around that time that our clog happened. When we use them, we definitely put in the trash instead now. Thankfully, Chef John was able to clear the clog himself but it could have cost us a plumbing bill and we did have to stay at a hotel one night.

  68. A clean bum is important. Fun post!

  69. OMG, too funny! My son has problems too…I try not to “invade” that often 🙂

  70. We are such big fans of Cottonelle, I thick it is funny that all of my boys are way more sensitive and need the quality that Cottonelle provides. We also have their wipes for the boys as well, I carry small packages with me because my youngest refuses to go to the restroom without them.

  71. Cute pix of the boys! We keep moist flushable wipes in all our bathrooms, so everyone can feel fresh!

  72. We use Cottonelle Wipes every single day! It’s amazing the things we did without as kids that we can’t live without today!

  73. I love Cottonelle wipes and so does my entire family. I make certain to never run out of them.

  74. We run out of Cottonelle and now we can’t find it. It was great while it lasted!

  75. We bought my aunt wet wipes for when she had her double knee surgery. LOL It was hard for her to move around.

I would never flush wipes though. Even if they say they are flushable, it isn’t great on the plumbing.

  76. I haven’t used these yet but was going to pick some up for the kiddlets. See if they liked them

  77. I just bought some when i was shopping earlier. Bet my boys get good use out of them!

  78. LOL, awesome post Robin! I’m not sure if I’ve heard of them.. I’ll tell about this to my sister!

  79. These Cottonelle Flushable Cleansing Cloths are such a great idea. Both kids and adults need to be clean and fresh. Saves clean up time for both!

  80. Love Cottonelle products! I love to take the flushable wipes with me when I travel because you just never now. They have travel packs that make it really convenient.

  81. We don’t have that brand over here in our country but it seems really a nice one to have.

  82. You know, I have bought these before and had no idea that they were flushable. We use them on our coffee bar to clean up spills. They are great for that, too. 🙂

  83. So funny. Everyone could use a good bum.

  84. I’ve never bought flushable wipes but I think you convinced me to try them. Pretty ingenious to make them for adults too!

  85. We use Cottonelle at our house and really like their products. Great photos!

  86. HAHAHA! Love it! Great photos! Great company and products.

  87. Cute photos! I love this brand it really came in handy when my Mom was recuperating with us

  88. Awww, your boys are so cute! Sounds like a nice bathroom tissue to try. Love that it breaks up when flushed.

  89. We haven’t tried these yet. I’ve thought about it, though. It does seem to make so much more sense!

  90. Awwww look at how widdle he was! These are a staple in my house because of my kids. Cottonelle is my favorite brand for TP!

  91. I say at some point we probably all have issues wiping our bums, lol. I love LOVE Contelle flushable wipes, they are a stample in our bathrooms!

  92. I’ve was using the kids ones – you know that have Cars or Nemo on the package – and then I discovered they made grown up ones too. I confess – use them! A clean bum is very important – even more so than clean underwear. (and they also come in very handy for other times of the month too – if you know what I mean.)

  93. What a great solution to the harsh age old torture of transitioning between wipes and toilet paper. That was high up there on the worst parts of growing up 🙂

  94. I haven’t tried the wipes yet, but I am going to look for them next time I go shopping.
