There is a fantastic little donut shop in Middletown, Rhode Island that my husband and I frequent whenever we are in the area. One day not too long ago, we were there and I spotted a little sign out of the corner of my eye. It said “Fruity Pebbles Milkshake” and I knew that I had to have one. Fruity Pebbles are my all time favorite cereal and a Fruity Pebbles Milkshake sounded heavenly.
We each ordered one and heavenly doesn’t even begin to describe it. It was the best milkshake I had ever had in my entire life. I said to hubby that I need to try to recreate it at home so that we didn’t have to drive an hour every time we had a craving for one. I went home and got to work – and this is what I came up with. It was much easier to recreate than I thought and after a few tries, I had it. I am so happy that I can now have one every single day. Ok, not every day, but often.
Fruity Pebbles Milkshake
Here’s what you need:
- 1 cup of milk
- 4 large scoops of vanilla ice cream (or more if you want it thicker)
- 1 cup of fruity pebbles
Here’s what you do:
In a blender, blend all ingredients until creamy. That’s it. It literally couldn’t be easier and guys, it’s ah-mazing.
Are you dying to make a Fruity Pebbles Milkshake now?
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed ours!
The donut shop had other cereal milkshakes and I plan on copying those in the very near future, so stay tuned for that. I might even come up with a new one based on some other cereals we love here in our house. Either way, I am so excited that I can have my Fruity Pebbles Milkshake any time my heart desires and will be making many more of them this summer!
