My favorite park is the Magic Kingdom, but I think all three of the boys are in agreement that they love Epcot the most.
We got there bright and early that morning and because it’s a popular ride, usually with super long lines, the GM Test Track was our first ride of the day. The Test Track was closed for renovations while we were in Disney last summer, so we were so happy that it was up and running this time around.
The changes they made while the ride was closed last year was that they added a section in which you could “design” your own car. You pick the specs and the actual model & then when you get to the actual ride, you input your info into the ride car and it’s like you’re testing out the car that you actually designed.
This is the picture they take while you’re on the ride, but the dumb kid in the front had his arms up and blocked me and the little man. Grrrr.
It was overcast that day, but thankfully it never rained. Last year when we were in Epcot it POURED, so we had our ponchos ready just in case. I am glad we didn’t have to use them.
Over in The Seas, we went on the Nemo ride and saw all the sea life in the aquarium. We didn’t stay long because there wasn’t anything new and the kids got bored quick.
Oh, and what’s a trip to Disney World without a major meltdown? It was day three and this was the first of three epic meltdowns that he had throughout the week.
Neither of the boys had ever gone on Mission Space before and they LOVED it. We rode that ride numerous times throughout the week – and for those of you who have gone on the ride – we were on the green team, which is the “easier” version of the ride.
The gruesome twosome really loves Innoventions. There are two different Innoventions pavilions that are both filled with interactive games, exhibits and hands-on activities! The boys love trying to smash a television with a mallet.
Even though it was late in the day, we hadn’t had a chance for a family photo, so here we all are:
We had an awesome day that day – and it was only the first of four visits to Epcot during our trip.
