Looking for a quick, healthy snack? How about a pineapple smoothie? They are easy to make and only take a few minutes to prepare. Score.
Pineapple Smoothie Ingredients:
½ C. pineapple chunks
¼ C. ground rolled oats (I used my food processor for this and made a large batch a head of time)
½ C. skim milk (you could also substitute almond or coconut milk if you wish)
½ banana, cut into smaller pieces (you can also cut and freeze these a head of time)
1 container (approximately 5.3 oz.) plain Greek yogurt, any brand
Combine all the ingredients into a blender or food processor and puree until it’s mixed well – about 30 seconds.
*Makes (2) 8 oz. servings or (1) 16 oz. serving
This is easy to make and my kiddos love it. If you want to save time, cut your fruit up a head of time and freeze, that way it’s ready to toss into the blender when you want a quick smoothie!
