Summer time is full of fun and adventures for our family.  We only have a few short months of summer here in Boston and I like to keep the boys busy, busy, busy.  Whether we are at the beach, the playground, the pool, on a day trip somewhere, on vacation or even just hanging out with friends – we are almost always up to something.

Chris and I love to make memories with the boys and want them to be able to look back at their childhood and think back to all the happy times we had as a family.

Messed up selfie

Despite our silly selfie stick mishaps on our travels, staying home can definitely be fun, too.  We all love to cook together as a family and we especially love family movie nights.  We love to snuggle up on the sofa with a huge bowl of popcorn and watch our favorite movies.

My boys have always been big fans of the How to Train Your Dragon movies.  We’ve seen them all multiple times, so they were thrilled when they heard that Hiccup and Toothless were back in an all-new Netflix original series Dragons: Race to the Edge!

Soaring beyond their home on the island of Berk in search of new dragons, Dragons: Race to the Edge introduces some of the most exciting dragons yet, each with its own amazing abilities — shock waves, cannon balls and fire blasts, just to name a few.

With the magical Dragon Eye, an artifact Hiccup finds aboard an abandoned ship, Hiccup learns there is more outside the confines of Berk, and that a little curiosity and determination can make every day an exciting journey. In Hiccup’s own words, “this changes everything.”

Here’s a first look at the all-new Netflix original!

So what are you waiting for?  Grab a bowl of popcorn and start streaming Dragons: Race to the Edge!

But wait, are you ready for even more adventure? Check out these other titles that are currently streaming on Netflix.
