On our last night at Disney World, we made reservations at our favorite restaurant. Teppan Edo. It’s located in the Japan Pavillion in the World Showcase at Epcot.
Celebrate authentic Japanese cuisine during an exciting dining experience that’s part meal, part show. In the communal ritual of Teppan-yaki-style cooking, skillful chefs chop and stir-fry dishes on grills at your table.
Select from steak, chicken, seafood and vegetable entrées, which are served with Udon noodles and steamed rice. You can also enjoy such favorites as teriyaki chicken, potato-vegetable croquettes, tempura and edamame.
Chris & I always get the same thing – Nihonbashi, which is a chicken & steak stir-fry. It comes with veggies such as zucchini, onions and mushrooms. The boys just get chicken and we all absolutely LOVE eating there.
You can also indulge in such treats as chocolate ginger cake and Green Tea Cheese Cake with Raspberry Sauce for dessert. Chris and I got one of each and shared. The boys got soft served ice cream.
FYI – the tables there are community style and seat eight people, so if you are a family of four – expect to be seated with another family. It’s not awkward, though, because you’ll be on one side and they will be on the other.
If you’re looking for someplace different to eat, seriously -make reservations at Teppan Edo. It’s a unique experience and the food is AMAZING. It’s the one restaurant the we look forward to going back to year after year.
