As we were driving back to our condo during our recent trip to New Hampshire when we were there recently, we pulled over to see the full moon and this amazing sunset over the White Mountains:





This was right smack dab in the middle of the White Mountain National Forest and for those of you who are from the area, it was along the Kancamagus Highway, which is known for the most amazing NH scenery.   Gorgeous, huh?

  3. We went camping around there a bunch of times. It is really beautiful up there. Except I always got nervous driving on those windy roads 🙂

  9. Very pretty! We don’t have mountains, or beaches near us. I know how lame? We’re know for our flat grassland. Woo Hoo! Western Nebraska is super pretty! It’s filled with hills.

  12. That is beautiful. We drove through NH briefly on our way to Stowe when we lived back East and it was absolutely beautiful. I hope to go back some day!!

  15. I bet it was even more beautiful in person. We’ve some crazy amazing sunsets here this winter, which isn’t really normal for us. Colors that I can never really capture on camera!

  29. So beautiful! I’ve driven through New Hampshire when I lived in Maine for a year, on my way home to the Poconos. I would love to see more of the state than what I saw just passing through.

  37. Beautiful pictures. I always stop and take a minute to appreciate how beautiful our world is when I see the sunset at night. I have a great view of the city/water/mountains from my apartment so I pause often to watch the sun go down 🙂

  38. Full Moons are totally amazing. Whenever I see one – I always ended up gazing upon it – my mom stops me lots of times when I was a kid though – don’t know why, lol. Anyway, those are wonderful shots and made me remember how much I am in love with the Moon and its beauty.

  47. What beautiful scenery! There’s just something about a mountain view at sunset; I live near the Charlotte area in NC, and my husband and I try to take multiple trips up to the mountains every year just to experience the beauty.
