Where Kids Can Eat Free South of Boston

I don’t know about you, but there are definitley sometimes in which I don’t feel like cooking, but don’t want to pay a fortune for the four of us to go out to eat.  I knew there were some places around where kids could eat free down here on the south shore, but wasn’t sure which places had offers.  I decided to make a list of all of the places I could find so that I could refer back to it when I needed it.  If you live south of Boston, I hope you find this helpful.

Sunday:

  • Dine at SKY in Norwood with your family on Sundays (3pm-9pm), and for each entrée ordered from their regular dinner menu, each child under the age of 10 eats for free* from their kids menu (one child per adult).
  • The Charlie Horse West Bridgewater  Children under 12 pay a penny for every pound that they weigh on Sundays from noon-9pm with adult purchase!
  • Dickey’s Barbecue Pit (Seekonk): 1 Free Kid’s Meal for kids 12 & under per paid adult meal of equal or greater value. Dine-in only.
  • Chili Head BBQ (West Bridgewater):  From noon until 9 pm, kids eat free (Kid’s Meal) with the purchase of an adult entree. Dine-in only. One kids meal per one adult entree.
  • Zendo Bistro (in the Hingham Shipyard): Kids 3-12 years old eat free with an adult meal purchase.
  • Healthy Grille (Dartmouth) – Kids eat free on Sundays 12-8 with an entree purchase of $10.99 or more.

Monday:

  • Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill at Patriots Place: Monday nights kids under 12 eat free with a parent!
  • The British Beer Company Restaurant and Pub Kids eat free all day on Monday with the purchase of an adult entree. They have locations in Pembroke, Sandwich and Plymouth.
  • The Halfway Cafe (Canton, Holbrook & Dedham):  Kids eat free every Monday and Tuesday after 4 pm.  Valid for dine-in only, one free kids meal with every adult entrée of $9.99 or more that is purchased.  Offer is for kids 12 and under and their kid’s meal must be ordered off the kids menu!
  • Finna’s Tavern (Kingston):  Kids eat free with an adult purchase on Mondays and Tuesdays!
  • The Fresh Catch (Mansfield):  Kids eat free with an adult purchase Mondays from 4-6 pm.
  • Scorpio’s Italian Eatery & Pizzeria (Attleboro):  On Mondays & Tuesdays,  get one free kid’s meal per adult entree purchase!

Tuesday:

  • South of Blues Depot East Bridgewater   Kids 12 and under eat free on Tuesdays with the purchase of an adult entree.
  • Owen O’Leary’s (Brockton): Tuesday, after 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. is  kids’ night. Children under 11 years old eat for free with the purchase of an adult entree (good for a two children per adult ratio)
  • Bugaboo Creak  Braintree Kids eat free on Tuesdays after 4 pm with purchase of an adult meal.

  • HomePlate (Taunton). Kids eat free all day!
  • UNO Chicago Grill: Kids eat free on Tuesdays. Get one free kid’s meal with each adult entree!
  • Pipers Restaurant and Bar (Wareham): One free kid’s meal per adult meal purchase!
  • Moe’s Southwest Grill (Plymouth and Hanover): After 5PM you can get one free kid’s meal per adult entree purchase!
  • Brazil Grill (Brockton):  Kids eat free every Tuesday from 4pm-10pm with adult meal purchase.
  • Carter’s Sports Grill (Canton):  Kids eat free on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4pm-7pm.  One free kids meal off the new kids menu with the purchase of an adult entree!
  • Ruby Tuesday (Taunton): One free kid’s entrée with one adult entrée purchase after 5 PM.
  • IHOP (Plymouth):  Kids eat for free from 4 – 9 pm, limited to one child per adult.
  • The Village Manor (Dedham):  Kids Eat Free (1 kid’s meal for each entree ordered)!
  • Plaza Azteca Hingham:  Kids eat free on Tuesdays.
  • Scorpio’s Italian Eatery & Pizzeria (Attleboro):  On Mondays & Tuesdays,  get one free kid’s meal per adult entree purchase!

Wednesday:

  • Barrett’s Ale House (Bridgewater, Fall River and North Attleboro): Kids (10 and under) eat free all day with the purchase of an adult meal.
  • Jerry Remy’s (Fall River): 1 Free kids meal with each adult entree purchased!
  • Slap-Shotz Family Sports Pub in Raynham: On Wednesday nights, kids eat free with the purchase of an adult meal.
  • Mamma Mia’s (Carver or Plymouth): Free slice of pizza for kids with the purchase of an adult entree.
  • Carter’s Sports Grill (Canton):  Kids eat free on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4pm-7pm.  One free kids meal off the new kids menu with the purchase of an adult entree!
  • Fay’s Restaurant (Dartmouth): Kids under 12 eat free when accompanied by an adult spending $10 or more.

  • 99 Restaurants:  Kids eat free the day after  a Red Sox Win (with the purchase of an adult entree)!
  • Margarita’ Mexican Restaurant in Weymouth:   Kids eat free everyday with the purchase of an adult meal.
  • Waterford’s Restaurant & Pub in Dedham:  Children age 10 & under eat free from their Kid’s Menu Sunday – Thursday 4-6 pm!
  • Abby Park (Milton):  Kids Eat Free! Monday-Friday from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. Children MUST be accompanied by an adult who purchases an entree. Limit one child per adult.
  • New Tokyo (Plymouth): Wednesday-Friday: kids ages 4-12 get one free kid’s meal with each purchase of combination entree! Hibachi entree only.

  1. How fun! We have some restaurants here to where kids can eat free. The trouble is, is that Mica eats as much as I do. Isaak still eats kid dishes though.

  4. Friendlys ( I know!) kids eat free Monday after a Patriots win. The one in Norwood is really pretty good.

  5. Wozza…that’s a lot of different choices! Here we only have a handful of restaurants and it’s only a couple of days a week (which sucks). There are so many I have never heard of before! Time to start planning a trip to Boston 🙂

  7. You have a lot of places that kids can dine free! We only have a few and they are places the girls aren’t too fond of. *sigh*

  20. This is a great list to have handy! There are definitely nights that this Mom just needs a night off from cooking and finding a kid-friendly restaurant that has free kid’s meals is a big deal. It can cost us big money for a dinner out with a family of 6 so a free meal is always welcome!

  22. I have never been to Boston, but will have to keep these restaurants in mind if we do ever travel there. We have a family of 6 so eating out is expensive. I love it when restaurants offer free meals to kids.

  23. Oh my goodness, this is an awesome list! We only have one more child that’s still under 12, but do we ever appreciate the free meal for her when we can get it. It makes such a big difference, especially when you’re on a budget!

  25. I love when restaurants to the “kids eat free” thing. My son hardly ever eats when we’re at a restaurant, but we still order something for him just in case. With the “kids eat free” specials I don’t have to worry about wasting any money on food he may not eat!

  29. Love the list of places for kids to eat for free. It is always nice for families to be able to find ways to save money while still being able to take their family out for meals. And many times kids eat so little, that it feels like it doesn’t make sense to pay for a full meal for them anyways.

  43. I didn’t know there were so many places kids could eat free. We only had one restaurant in our parts where they could but it closed down and now there’s no where where they can eat free.

  55. You have so many more choices than we do here in NE Oklahoma. We have maybe six places that offer kids eat free menus.

  61. That is one extensive list you’ve put together of restaurants where kids eat free in Boston. We had a Tony Keith’s here in Orlando for about 2 months and it shut down. That was odd.
